These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of OwnYour, operated by Own Your Store LLC. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

OwnYour provides a platform for creators to build their online presence, including:

• A customizable landing page at your chosen subdomain
• Tools to add links, sell digital products, and accept bookings
• Optional custom domain connection

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password
• You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction)
• One account per person unless explicitly authorized
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

3. Your Content

You own your content. Anything you create, upload, or publish through OwnYour remains yours.

By using our service, you grant us a limited license to display and distribute your content solely to operate the service (e.g., showing your store to visitors).

You are solely responsible for ensuring your content is legal and does not violate others' rights.

4. Your Data

Your data is yours. This is a core principle of OwnYour:

• You can export your data at any time
• If you leave, your data leaves with you
• We do not hold your business hostage

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use OwnYour for:

• Anything illegal in the United States or your jurisdiction
• Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
• Harassment, hate speech, or threats
• Content that exploits minors
• Malware, phishing, or security exploits
• Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging
• Impersonating others
• Reselling or bulk-registering accounts

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. Payments and Billing

• Prices are as displayed at time of purchase
• Subscriptions bill monthly, annually, or as a one-time payment depending on your plan
• You can cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods
• Refunds for other circumstances are at our discretion

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.

7. Subdomain and Custom Domains

• Your subdomain (yourname.ownyour.store) is granted, not owned
• We reserve the right to reclaim subdomains that violate these Terms, are inactive for extended periods, or infringe trademarks
• Custom domains you connect remain your property

8. Termination

By you: You can delete your account at any time. Your data will be removed within 30 days.

By us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. For serious violations, termination may be immediate and without refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

OwnYour is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for:

• Lost revenue, data, or profits
• Service interruptions
• Actions of third parties
• Your content or how others use it

Our maximum liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. For significant changes, we'll notify you via email or a notice on our website at least 30 days before they take effect.

Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Oklahoma.
